Flyers After School [6 - 8]
Flyers After School Program
Serving the Following Middle Schools:
- Cameron Middle School
- Fuller Middle School
- Walsh Middle School
Program Overview:
The Flyers After School program is thoughtfully designed to engage students beyond the bell through leadership development, project-based learning, and college and career readiness opportunities.
Program Hours:
3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Our Clubs:
Clubs operate in 10-week sessions throughout the school year. Registration opens 2–3 weeks before each session begins. Club placement is determined through a lottery system.
Important: If you have not received confirmation of your club schedule 3–4 days prior to the program start date, please contact your school’s Site Coordinator by email.
What Students Gain:
By participating in the program, students can benefit from:
-
Incentive prizes – Sweatshirts, water bottles, field trips, and more
-
Mentorship – With educators and community partners
-
High School Credit – Available for 7th and 8th grade students with 90% attendance
Principal Clubs: after-school clubs that meet once or twice a week. Their format and offerings depend on teacher availability, the principal's preference, and meeting slots per session. Consequently, not all sessions may have a specific club running. We conduct registrations in three sessions: Fall, Winter, and Spring.
21st Century Program: similar to the club, however, this program has the duration of the whole school year. Students can adjust their schedules each Fall, Winter, and Spring session. Securing a spot during the Fall unit November registration ensures your place for the entire year.
REGISTRATION CLOSURE:
If you register for the program after September 15, 2025, please allow a few days to receive confirmation from the ELT Secondary Coordinator. Note that students cannot start the program without receiving this confirmation
*DUE TO LIMITED CAPACITY, WE MAY NOT BE ABLE TO PROVIDE TRANSPORTATION FOR ALL*
After School Schedule:
