Finance & Operations

The Office of Finance & Operations for the Framingham Public Schools is dedicated to serving our community by providing transparent financial information, maintaining well-kept facilities, and ensuring efficient school operations.  Our commitment extends to supporting our staff, students, and families through best business practices. We are responsible for the financial management of the School Department, encompassing a wide range of responsibilities including: developing and managing the school district's annual budget, managing the purchase of goods and services for the school district, maintaining accurate and detailed financial records, establishing and enforcing financial policies and procedures, securing and managing grant funding to support special projects and initiatives that enhance student opportunities and school programs.

Furthermore, the Office of Finance & Operations provides daily operational support to essential departments such as Buildings & Grounds, School Nutrition, Safety & Security, Transportation and Technology.  The Office of Finance & Operations is committed to working collaboratively with all parties to ensure that the Framingham Public Schools continue to provide an excellent education for all students.  We believe that by fostering transparency, efficiency, and a focus on community needs, we can create a school system that empowers our students to reach their full potential.
