Out of respect for the safety of our families and the importance of this lasting memory, we have made the difficult decision to postpone tonight’s graduation ceremony.
The weather forecast has been shifting and unpredictable throughout the day. While it’s possible conditions may improve by this evening, the forecast still includes the risk of severe flooding, lightning, and significant rain leading up to the ceremony. Even if skies clear temporarily, the effects of the earlier weather—soaked fields, wet stands, and the very real possibility of having to stop once we’ve started—do not reflect the celebration our graduates and families have earned and deserve.
Framingham High School’s Commencement Ceremony will now take place on Sunday, June 8 at 1:00 PM at Bowditch Field, with a forecast of partly sunny skies and 75 degrees.
We appreciate your understanding and flexibility as we work to ensure a safe, joyful, and uninterrupted celebration for the Class of 2025.
