GRADES KINDERGARTEN - 5
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
Students entering FPS will continue to be assigned through a controlled choice program. After completing the registration, parents/guardians will receive a choice form to fill out with their preferences. Some schools may have few or no seats after siblings and first-choice Home District students have been assigned.
Sibling Preference – An entering student with an older sibling currently in grades K-4 will receive a preferential assignment to the older sibling's school if that school is designated as the first choice and a seat is available.
Home District Preference – Each student is designated a Home District school based on their home address, and a seat is available. If you have questions about your student's Home District school, please check the Home district list.
Dual Language Programs—Spanish and Portuguese are only for new Kindergarten and 1st-grade students. Unique entrance criteria are required. Don't hesitate to contact the Department of Multilingual Education.
