Sun Bucks Summer Grocery Benefit Program

Families may be eligible to receive SUN Bucks, a summer grocery benefit that provides $120 per eligible child to help purchase food during the summer months when school is not in session.

Many students will be automatically enrolled based on their participation in certain assistance programs. However, some families who are not automatically enrolled may still qualify and should complete an application.

OUR MISSION

The Department of School Nutrition in Framingham is dedicated to helping families provide healthy meals for their children. We understand the importance of good nutrition for a child's growth and well-being, so we offer a variety of nutritious options to meet diverse dietary needs. Our meals meet nutritional guidelines and appeal to students' tastes, featuring fresh fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean proteins. We are committed to continually improving our offerings to ensure that all students have access to healthy choices.


Our mission is to promote healthy eating through high-quality nutrition programs. We believe no child should go hungry and work with families, schools, and the community to create an environment where healthy eating is the norm for all students in Framingham.

    Please note all rates are reviewed annually.

  • Yes, all schools are served lunch before students are dismissed on early release days.

  • Yes, you can set up online payments with the MySchoolBucks program.
